Not a bad spot for Mexican food. They have good happy hour specials and tasty food.
We sat in the tapas side but ate from the ole ole menu. A little confusing but it was not busy (we went at 4pm right when it opened) and we were able to order from either menu.
I ordered the mahi mahi tacos. Came with beans, rice, guac, sour cream. Guac is good here. We tried the molcajete dishes - both chicken and guac and molca. Both great but I think I liked the chicken one slightly more.
I had a couple of sangrias for $5 each and my friend had a bunch of $5 margs. Some apps are also $5 during happy hour.
The tapas menu is mixed with Mexican and bar food options. Not what we were looking for that day so we opted for the ole ole menu. -

We like this place because the menu is varied and there is something for everyone. They offer gluten free items, seafood, chicken, beef, and pork dishes. The appetizer options are yummy and the drinks are tasty.

So let's talk about Ole Ole. I have been a customer for a couple years. So It's hard to review this place because of lack of consistency. It can be just perfect like today July 30 - Monday. Staff is welcoming, the place is clean, the food hits big scores or can be like July 29 - Sunday place is like a bomb had goes off, staff is unwelcoming. So the way I adopt with this restaurant is simple when I go inside I check the tables if they are unclean and the staff look a bit upset I don't stay. I know is downhill from there, time to visit another restaurant, but if is calm and staff is happy I go in and I know the food will be great And I will be happy.

Have been here twice now and not sure I'll return. Went last night with a girl friend. Although our waitress was amazing and super accommodating and the restaurant seems clean and welcoming the food is just mediocre.
Their complimentary salsa and chip are delicious. The chips are perfectly crisp with a nice salty bite. Salsa chunky and flavorful. The guac is stuffed with onions. Way too much and overbearing taking away from what guacamole should taste like. Their empanada app was skimping on the meat and too doughy.
The dinner tacos were just okay and the fajitas could have used cheese. The steak was nicely cooked.. no complaints there. Churro's crispy but I didn't enjoy the caramel and chocolate smothered on top. Would have preferred on the side for those who would like it or for those like me who just want to taste the churro. The red sangria is good but stay away from their house margaritas. The margarita just tastes like sweet water. -

The food was great but I am totally disappointed in the employees. Specifically one of the waitresses who I saw take money from the register and pocket it. I saw the same female employee get drunk at the bar and act all stupid. ALL the other employees turned a blind eye to it. I hope through this review that this helps out the owner to do something about it. This does not show a great atmosphere for its customers.
